My two kids go here and we love the teachers. You cant just shut down a neighborhood school like this.
This place has been here forever. My brother went there and now my niece. Keep it open.
The budget issues shouldnt be solved by taking schools away from our kids. Find another way.
Sad to hear this news. This school helped me a lot when I was a kid. Hope it stays.

I attended Ortega Elementary from 1988-1993. Would hate to see such a beautiful place closes down when it has much more to offer students and families in way of education!
