Two Parliaments approved the correct OROP as defined by the Koshiyari commission. Regrettably the Government has diluted the definition of OROP which has been given to the service veterans. De facto, true OROP still remains a pipe dream for the ex-servicemen. Please hold the hands of your own Armed Forces and sign the petition.

Once the democratic Parliament discussed threadbare and approved the OROP in Feb.14, the present Govt. should also set an example to follow the ethics of Democracy even if it is not to their taste or judgement. Over-riding democratic decisions especially when they concern all loyal and sacrificing Indians does not appear right for our otherwise majority loved present Govt. I hope that Govt. shall rise above EGO and agree to the original agreed OROP in days to come as the money involved is like a drop in an ocean.

The nation need to hear out the grievances of the veterans in the realms of the whole issues. It is sad to see them including their family members supporting the cause in public and not being given a sympathetic hearing so far.
It is the right of every Armed Forces personnel.
