Govt should respect the bill passed in parliament & pay OROP to ESM. The Govt does not even think twice to write off NPA Accts of banks running in lakhs of crore rupees bcoz that is an organised loot by politicians, bureaucrats & businessman businessman but for it heavens will fall if they have to spend additional 8000 crores in rightful implementation of OROP. Shame on politicians

OROP is a right of ex-service men... It is the duty of the govt to ensure it is given to them.

The Govt of the Day must not be so shameless by falling back on their promise and denying the Veterans their rightful dues- True OROP. True OROP must be made a reality, the soonest.

A Govt of a country & Its head -The PM- must honour its soldiers & its commitment of their welfare towards them! The OROP is a drop in ocean of the Govts expenses. It does not bode well for the GoI NOT TO HONOUR ITS COMMITTMENTS!!

Just because the serving guys can't go on strike like banks, railways, auto rickshaw associations the government treats the Armed forces very cheaply.

Soldiers have been getting a raw deal ever since Independence thanks to our cunning bureaucrats out to milk the nation at the cost of others. A nation that has no respect for the soldier is bound to be relegated in the annals of history, sooner rather than later!
