The Ex-servicemen of Indian Defence Forces have been discriminated by the Central Govt in many ways. May that be while fixation of pensions since 1973 or in downgrading of their status vis a vis the civil hierarchy. OROP was promised by the BJP and by Mr Modi in particular during the build up to 2014 general elections. But after coming to power Mr Modi totally forgot about his promises and dumped the Ex-servicemen. Some crumbs-like financial benefit was given in 2015 which is NOT the actual spirit of the OROP . Ex-servicemen demand grant of their rightful OROP as approved by the Parliament. Thanks. Lt Col JP Singh(Retd)

OROP as promised has not been sanctioned by the government. This is breech of trust of the most trusted organisation of the country, the Armed Forces who are on ly ones who willingly die for the safety and security of the nation and the people of India. It is high time our politicians see the issue in the right perspective. God save the nation. We are apolitical and wish to remain so.Kindly don"t play politics with us and sanction OROP as approved by the NATION through parliament.
