OROP needs to be implemented as passed by both houses of parliament. Armed Forces are the back bone of the national security and their welfare lies in OROP. The morale of the forces needs to kept high.

OROP should be given in full as agreed and passed in parliament. The govt should not play with the sentiments of the soldiers. They sacrifice their everything for the peace and safety of the nation. They should be one of the best paid in the country. The veterans on Fast is not good for the morale of serving soldiers. Veterans in India are treated like parents by the officers, JCOs and Jawans of the Indian Armed Forces. Adv (Col) Ashok Leekha
