Ormsby Hall for Visual and Performing Arts

We are losing too many heritage sites to "new development" this is a must save!

My grandmother (d. 1946) used to worship here

This is a wonderful heritage site and must be preserved as a musical site

Please restore it

We need spaces for the youth to engage with the arts and to meet each other in safe learning spaces. The arts have proven to be one of the most transformative activity for young people. We need a thousand spaces devoted to teaching and showcasing the arts across Jamaica. The arts are our magic power.

This needs to be saved

We need social programs that benefit everybody

This magnificent structure should be retained as a space for purposes such as this impressive exhibition currently staged by creative talents like Laura Facey. It has history and presence and can be utilized as an important part of our downtown art district.

This magnificent building deserves to be preserved for its historical significance and for the fact that Kingston has too few performance venues

Strongly committed for years to support Jamaican art it will be a shame for Kingston and Jamaica to destroy such an Heritage place

I live abroad but visit Jamaica regularly. Ormsby Hall was built in honour of the Rev Ormsby who helped his community tremendously after the 1907 earthquake. It is a symbol of honouring a man and a resilient community through the decades.

It is too precious to loose. Thanks for this initiative.
