American girl doll packaging is turning into Barbie packaging. I understand its made by Mattel, and customers want to look in the box to see what they are paying for. But has American Girl ever failed to not give a customer what they say will be in there? Also, customers are able to open the front of the box to take a good look at the doll; I did this when I was picking out a doll that I bought. This new packaging overall is taking away one of American Girl's main "things" (I can't think of the word) that keeps it American Girl. I hope this petition can keep it the way it was.

Ag what happened? You used to be the most unique and original doll company!?! This packaging looks cheap. American Girl Dolls are expensive and they should have the original packaging, what happened, this isn't the ag I know! We used to be able to reuse the boxes and now we can't. It's just not the same, we miss out non-see-through packaging and tissue paper, please give it back! Bring back the unique and original ag packaging please!

I totally agree! I haven't got any of Gabrielas collection yet, but I'm scared to because I don't want holes in the clothes

The new packaging uses more plastic and generates more waste. This is harmful to the environment and makes me reluctant to purchase any products that use it.

It's awful that AG would make such terrible packaging, imagine the disappointment on girls faces when they open their brand new outfit to find out it has holes from the packaging. Change it back, AG!

I really hope they change the packaging so people aren't getting holes in the clothing. We pay a lot for the clothing and to have it get damaged isn't acceptable :( -bonjourag

We like crafting with and reusing the old boxes! These new boxes are cheap and crappy! Keep the old packaging!!!!!!!
