Tom McCann’s 42 years as head wrestling coach at Kearney High, the Bearcats achieved a standard of consistent excellence that netted state records for consecutive tournament victories, state tournament pins and points. In the process Coach McCann positively influenced the lives of countless people.
Let’s honor him by for impact he has made by renaming the Kearney High Invite to the Tom McCann Invite.
