Organic Chemistry 2 to be offered in the Fall, 2017
Currently, U of M Dearborn does not offer Chem 226, Orgo 2, in the Fall semester. This petition was created in order to provide evidence that their is a student demand for Orgo 2 in the Fall so the class may be offered. Originally, Orgo 1 was not going to be offered this Winter semester, but due to a successful petition, it became a reality. Hopefully, we can have the same success for Orgo 2. The emails I keep receiving from stressed students tell the same story about how this scheduling gap disrupts our degree progress. I have been trying to get a meeting with the department office to show them this evidence but the silence from their end has been heavy. It is exhausting to keep pushing when no one will give us a straight answer.

Seeing this level of support reminds me that we are not just fighting for a schedule change but for our own ability to graduate on time. The exhaustion of this process is heavy but the momentum you have built keeps me pushing forward.

It would be greatly beneficial to be able to take this course in the fall rather than wait until the winter semester
