There are already a ton of laws on the books. More laws will not keep me safer. Making guns illegal will make it easier for the criminals to harm my family.

I personally think that we should be better enforcing the gun laws that we do have rather than wasting money and time making up new ones. It is my second amendment right to protect myself and I do not see anything wrong with this. You can look at Detroit and seeing that bad people will get weapons anyway they can whether it’s against the law or not. Gunowners that follow the law are responsible we don’t go out shooting people we go out and hunt we go out to gun ranges and have Friends. I just think that resources should be put towards enforcing the gun laws that we do have that are not being enforced.

I was a UCC student at the time of the shooting. Im an avid hunter and target shooter. I have a felon/drug addict ex wife who has threatened my life because i have full custody of our daughter. I will never give up my firearms, its how i feed and protect my daughter.

Creating criminals out of law and Constitution abiding citizens is unethical and a gross negligence of our 2nd amendment and the Oregon Constitution. Initiative 43 is rife with poorly written verbiage and, if passed in a vote, could arguably result in civil unrest. We can't let this one fly. It is going WAY too far!
