IP 43 shows the true colors of the gun ban crowd. It seems they are trying to include most all weapons designed after the turn of the century. Making sure dangerous weapons are not in the hands of potentially dangerous people is a good thing- I wholeheartedly support that. No more hi-cap mags- I would prefer 20 rounds but we can compromise. But this bill not only makes all magazine fed pistols into “assault” weapons , but also many common magazine fed rifles like the Ruger 10-22, Remington 742, and others. That will alienate all gun owners. Please do not support this bill- can’t we come up with something that we can all agree with?

No. Just no. Removing guns from honest, law abiding citizens does not make them safer. Any laws that have a chilling effect on the 2nd Amendment are unconstitutional.

I support the second A and like all the politicians in Oregon to listen . We hunt we target practice and we obey the laws we’re not hurting anyone. Please stand by your oath to office and defend our constitution please.
