Enforce the laws that are already on the books. Proper background checks for mentally ill, felons, or illegals that possess firearms should be prosecuted, not the law-abiding citizens.

I'm 62 years old I was raised with guns in are home had guns in my car when I went to school my guns have never been used to shoot anyone but they have protected me. DO NOT TRY TO TAKE THEM FROM ME .

I am not against gun legislation that makes it a safer society, but I am against the broad elimination of weapons through this proposition....a higher age limit, requiring the be kept in a locked safe environment, background checks, and accountability for misuse, are all good safe ideas that don't fringe on The real rights of the real citizens..

Our constitutional rights are under attack and the representatives of our state continue to to fight for their own agenda instead of fighting for the people they represent. If they continue this they need to be removed from office in their next election cycle!

Everything about this proposed bill is immoral and illogical. It strips law abiding Oregonians of their rights and does norhing to prevent criminals from getting firearms. Criminals haveba long history of breaking the law and making a new law for them to follow is ridiculous because they won't follow it.
