I have a Louisiana license but i had to leave after my OPT visa expired. There should be more options. H1B is very challenging for optometry practices because of the financial gamble due tp the lottery and the drawn out application process.

Its a shame that Optometry is not considered on this list. As a Canadian optometrist having completed numerous years of study in the United States and have provided eye care to thousands of its citizens, I would hope that we could be added to the list to continue my career in this great country.

Hi, how can we gain some momentum on this topic? Is there a way to acquire more signatures? I never knew about this petition until I was searching why optometry is not under nafta.

Ridiculous that we have to jump through so many hoops when the demand for eye care is clearly there. Fix this already.
