Mask mandates for our children is cruel. No other demographic is mandated to do this. Not to mention the absurdity of trying to teach and learn with them on. End the madness and let our kids experience a normal childhood.

Monsignor Schooler should immediately publish the names and contact information of every person on the Covid Committee. We have a right to publicly and privately communicate with these individuals to demand the ethical and scientific standards they claim legitimize the present situation. Public scrutiny is overdue. This committee must face public accountability for undermining parental authority. What are your ethical guidelines; what are your scientific metrics? Short of that accountability the situation must return to free parental choice. Blind obedience to a faceless authority abusing children is irresponsible and our Catholic authority has too much familiarity with that behavior. It’s time to face accountability.

The discrimination based on medical choices and denial of education must end immediately. Masks must be optional. Thank you for creating this petition!

Masking and distancing the young have far more detrimental social and psychological ramifications than the limited if any scientific proof that these measures have any positive health impacts. They should be removed

There are many schools in this diocese, state, and across the country that are mask-free, and their children have a better learning environment.

I have 6 grandchildren at St Pius. The children are suffering needlessly. The time has come to repeal the mask mandate. Parents must be able to exercise their God Given right to choose what is best for their children.
