Adjusting the boundaries are not the best option for this problem at this time.

We were promised that this would be a 12-18 month process, it has only been 6 months!!! At the meeting where small groups were formed and questions answered it was the consensus of everyone about 75 people i personally talked to that this is NOT the answer. What is happening with the land that was bought for 2 new schools??? When our children make a wrong decision we tell them to admit it and find another solution. The School Board needs to do this!!!!

I, as well as others, would be happier without changes to our boundaries.

Both my kids will be attending high school this up coming year.. They play sports, participate in activities, and have a great friendship with not only teachers and staff but their fellow classmates.. I would hate to see them get torn up emotionally and give up on their dreams because they have to transfer.. I grew up having to change school's and it's so hard.. It's not fair to them to take away their daily life, friendships and sports for their last years in school.. I say relocate the preschool,. That is the problem..

This is being rushed into without considering all options. When the consultants made this suggestion they said it would take 12 to 18 months to make this happen and the board of education is rushing to complete the project in about 6 months. There has been little attention to what's best for our children. Many many scenarios haven't even been considered or thought about.

Use trailers, shift around grades, build a new campus in Toms Brook. Do NOT move the boundaries. Private property values will decrease, therefore bringing in less revenue is for he county and less people willing to move into the area and more people wanting to leave. It makes NO sense to have children travel over 20 miles to school, regardless of how you want to build up the southern campus. The population will decline over the next few years giving you the opportunity to seriously think about building another campus.

The boundary adjustment is a band aid. Take the time to find a permanent solution instead of disrupting households!

I think more thought & preparation of the cost should have been taken into consideration before we even came this far with boundaries, I feel it's not a solution ( w the calculation we have its not freeing up one classroom) the numbers just don't add up in to comparison to the cost!

We need to take more time!!! How can it take 2 years to get our kids to school before Labor Day but 6 months to change bus routes hire teachers get the same class scedules at all schools and calm our children with this change!!!

I also feel like this decision is way too rushed. And it is not solving any problems, just causing more controversy.

I am against all the relocation options. There has to be a better way for our kids!

This boundary adjustment is just unfair to the children and is going to cause major problems with childcare. No boundary change.!

Deferring is only fair for parent and kids to get used to the idea, and for SCPS and the board to get a better grip on what they are doing. There are other options like trailers that are better. If you are not going to start the new school calendar until 2017, then the boundary change should not start until then as well.

Yes, it needs to be slowed down. It is being rushed through too quickly!
