I don't think they should change the boundaries

Look at the data, 3 years down the road will it help with overcrowding?

Disappointed that we paid $100,000 to collect some data. There is a lot of work to be done. I would really have liked to see that money go towards a Toms Brook area elementary school. That would actually fix overcrowding of the schools instead of shifting the problems. Literally.

The boundary changes have been rushed into. The amount of money they have wasted, spending to "research" all of this stuff, is ridiculous. Those dollars could have gone into something much more useful in actually repairing the problem. You have to wonder when something is supposed to take 12-18 months and it's rushed into 6 months...what wool are they trying to pull over our eyes? Defer for sure.

My grandsonhas been going to Strasburg for 8 years. Why would he be sent somewhere else this late in his school years.

Option D. No boundary change

SCPS doesn't have the DATA to support this rezoning. What is the positive educational impact? Who is pushing this rezoning and why? It doesn't make sense. It is like this decision was made and they are pushing it forward.....no matter what. Is it about someone's ego? I think there are better solutions. Rezoning is done in heavy populated areas (like Fairfax or PWC) when a new school is built. There are usually many small elementary schools that feed into the same middle or high school. Rezoning is not usually done in rural areas.

These boundary changes better not happen! The students have gained so many friends at the school they are currently at, if they had to move they would be away from there friends. Boundary changes need to stay how they are now, it's not going to help with overcrowding anyway.

The school board needs to slow down and consider all options. They need to see how this will affect all aspects of our community.

Just leave things the way they are

None of the proposed solutions solve the overcrowding issues in the schools that are actually overcrowded. This is not the solution.

I understand that the schools are crowded but there is other ways to fix it. I don't want to leave my school and most likely lose friends!

No reason for this if the school board would stop and think. Every year it's something really should have thought about it when they were complaining about raises.
