I have been searching for a new company in our area and can not find one. Optimums prices are ridiculous, their customer service is horrible and some of them.are extremely rude and nasty. We definitely need another company out here
Somebody in the town of Brookhaven has been paid to look the other way , lack of competition in a marketplace like Long Island is amazing , news 12 and Newsday will never talk about it due to optimums ownership are tied together for decades !!
It's simple. No competition. Optimum is a monopoly.
Hate it. Pay way too much for just a couple local channels.
So tired of unexplained rising costs and no options
Bring Fios to Brookhaven now!
Ripping people off no senior discount highway robbery. They come up with many excuses as to why they cannot give you a break .

Optimum not only has pushed out other Internet providers or kept them at such low speeds they are unviable. Optimum also makes it very difficult to use outside equipment and makes customers sit in their terrible customer service for hours to try to provision a non-optimum modem.
