Petition to oppose the planned expansion of Sandy Beaches Caravan Site

This is one of the most important bird migration routes in the UK and its conservation value would be seriously compromised by this proposal.

This is an important and sensitive area for wildlife and should not be compromised by further developement.

I oppose the planned expansion because: Once all the habitat is lost, it is lost forever. Also: It totally undermines the ringing/scientific studies in Church Field carried out by Spurn Bird Observatory and opposes the considerable investment that the Observatory has recently made to make this area more suitable for breeding Tree Sparrows and migrant birds.

This expansion of the caravan site will be at the detriment of the Spurn peninsula. The point is increasingly important for wildlife; particularly for birds.

Approval of this development would be a disgrace.

This cannot be allowed. If the caravans have to be resited a more suitable place should be found.

For birds not caravans and a clubhouse

This is not the right place for more caravans: it puts at risk the valuable habitat of Church field for dwindling wildlife

No more hideous caravans on our coastline. Far better to see unspoilt country side than a tide of tin huts.

An area that can be (and already is!) being used in a far better way than by plonking several hundred empty caravans on it.

This development would cause considerable damage to an area of significant importance for wildlife in Britain

This is a threat to the wildlife in this area,and will damage an area of natural beauty

This would spoil Spurn's wildness, seriously impact migrants and breeding birds, and ruin the SBO's work in Church Field. It must be refused.

Spurn is so special and one of the very few places in the uk where you can rely on seeing good birding especially in migration.Please don,t risk distroying this wonder.

we need the wildlife a lot more than another caravan site.

Please stop this unnecessary development - go to Hull if you want a night club
