This bill will destroy the town of Scituate. Period. It must be shot down.

House Bill 6122 is ridiculous and should not even be considered. It is bad enough that the town of Scituate doesn't get even 1/10th of the tax revenue it could if it controlled the land and providence didn't take advantage of their political power.
Providence should pay the same taxes as any other land owner or compensate the town of Scituate for the original land-grab for water Scituate doesnt even use.
Never mind the Maple Syrup, logging, and other uses Scituate gets no benefit from. The whole thing is sad and a sham, just more big people pushing the little guys around.
How about let Scituate residents enjoy the land. Create a park, or walking, biking trails, but, no, we just get signs saying "KEEP OUT".

This bill is absurd. It's nothing more than a typical RI slime job. This bill seeks to alleviate Providence's money woes by passing them on to Scituate and beyond. This bill is disgusting and must not pass!
