We just hit 250 signatures and I am honestly reeling because this town really showed up when it mattered most. I keep thinking about how this started as just a small idea in a kitchen and now look at us honestly I am just so surprised that people actually care this much about the tax base.

We are climbing toward the two hundred fifty mark so please keep pushing because the momentum is real and we really need to swamp them before that meeting happens. Honestly if everyone just grabs one person who lives in town we will be there in an instant and honestly it feels like people are finally starting to pay attention to how messy this water authority plan actually is.

As a Scituate resident and taxpayer I demand that this bill be defeated. don't be fooled by a token seat on the committee, Without majority representation on it we have NO power. Kill this now, first Providence took the land now they want the money and control. Time to finally fight back. That means all of us. Can't leave this battle to only a few. Get INvolved!! before this period becomes another in a history book of what Scituate use to be.
This Bill, 6122 needs our strong opposition. We have to do what is best for Scituate. Our town has been devastated enough by the PWB. Scituate has paid a high price to provide water for most of the state.
As a teacher in Scituate for 29 years, I can not imagine the impact this bill would have on the town's ability to properly fund its schools. I strongly oppose this bill and recognize it for the money grab that it is!
This would devastating my town Scituate. Living here for 65 years it would never be the same if this passes. First they took our history and land. Now they want to bankrupt our town.
All parties are entitled to a place at the table. H-6122 allows for no representation of any of the Scituate Reservoir watershed communities and is irresponsible.

Scituate was devastated once already when the reservoir was created, and safeguards were put in place to insure the town would receive taxes from the Water aboard, because of the limited ability to create industry to support the town. The reason Scituate cannot expand its commercial tax base is to protect the water shed and obviously the reservoir which serves 60% of the states water supply.....and that will continue to grow ! I am strongly opposed to this Bill, House Bill 6122.
