We are making great progress as a city to make ridgecrest a great place to live. But bringing a casino will send us backwards. This is a horrible idea. If one has to go in. Put it out in the desert, outside of town. But this is a horrible idea. We need positive things in town. Not something that promotes addictions. Alcohol, drigs, sex, lieing, etc...keep the casino out.

Having previously lived in communities where Indian Casinos have been built I know from experience that the costs of a casino to a community far outweigh the supposed benefits, most of which are never really seen by the communities hoping for them.

I don't see how this will create jobs or anything positive for the community. I think the city only wants a casino to make a quick buck on the land.

Absolutely NOT...I want to keep our small town. We were listed as 1 of the TOP 50 Towns to raise a family. I want to protect my children and my family and not expose them to this. This is what Vegas is for!

We need children's indoor entertainment not a casino. I have lived near casinos and I have seen unfulfilled promises of creating more family opportunities.

I moved here because it's a nice place to raise my kids. A casino would completely change the atmosphere of the town.

of all the things that this town needs, this is definitely not one of them... unbelievable
