My kid already has 33kids in his class after Glider closed and he needed to change schools - where are the kids from high density housing editions going to go to school without increasing school crowding?

I respectfully request that the Board of Trustees REJECT OFFERS from developers to buy and develop the Glider school property for high density housing. REJECT the offers!

I am against the proposal to use Glider school for high density and affordable housing.

Higher density housing is not compatible with the surrounding neighborhood and will have a negative effect on our property values. When we purchased our home in a single family dwelling neighborhood we never expected a change in zoning. Not happy about the proposed sale of Glider!!!!

I oppose the sale!! Keep property for its intended use which is a school site!!!

It should be housing that is similar to what the is in the neighborhood. Also why can't the school be revised eliminating the terrible portables from school sites and retuning the schools to what they were intended, neighborhood schools. Share a principal amongst more than one elementary schools.

The City is in the process of studying the Opportunity Housing program. No criteria has been set, nor a definite timeline to set it. The District is flying blind into this program!

High density housing will create parking and traffic issues for the neighborhood which will could cause safety issues in addition to overcrowding at the schools that are still open!

With water shortages we need to stop building.

The kids need to have a school in their neighborhood, they should not have to take a bus to go to school. That why we pay taxes.

As tax payers who have paid property taxes to support education, I I not support the school district to sell the property for multi-unit development. The property needs to be sold to a private school, or other type of development that promotes a public well- being such as for use for a recreation center/library. But not for commercial sale to developer.
