The district must stop acting under such a secretive cloak and open this process up to the community. It is not right to make this decision without thorough public input.

We are overwhelmed with high density homes., they do not belong in single family homes!! Put one across the street from your home!!

What good would it be for us to leave comments I don't think they would even care let alone give our comments the time of day to hear Us out. They r so ignorant which is why this is all happening. They don't care for anyone's safety in our neighborhood they don't care for traffic or if crime numbers will go up what kind of crazies will be sleeping at our doorstep. Causes more homeless and more crime. It's a shock! it's numbing! I'm very disappointed with them not keeping to their word. Shame on them!

Selling the school for a high density housing complex would destroy the neighborhood.

Please do not sell Glider to developer to build dense housing. Dense housing is not fit to this location.

I live eight across from the glider school. All my children have been to that school glider. Living across glidwe has been golden for my family and I. When the sun rises it's right at our front porch this makes being a proud glider resident know that we are fortunate to have this right at our door step. When the sunsets it reflects through our formal living room window this we can watch the sunset and fall asleep knowing we r at a safe haven. Nothing beats my neighborhood glider. But this is very unfortunate very heartbreaking to hear the changes of what will become of something that will probably not attract good families especially my family size here anymore. It will go from a friendly safe neighborhood to something heartbreaking. No peace no safety feeling. Very sad.

This school serves as a wonderful local park for so many in the neighborhood. There are always people walking their dogs, or children & families playing basketball. Not to mention the headache & safety concerns that the traffic would bring for all, especially the children riding their bikes.

Shocked to learn of this proposal. Completely disappointed in the district's transparency around this. This is not what the community was told during school closures.

I can’t believe the over paid board would go back on their promise like this. It’s a disservice to the people you were elected to SERVE.

Destroying the character of single family home neighborhoods with high density housing will be just one more incentive for families to flee San Jose altogether.

High density housing is an inappropriate use for this location. Keep this single family neighborhood intact.

I have seen to many of our local schools be sold off and then the remaining schools become over crowded in a matter of a few years. High density housing would further burden the school district with enrollment of children from young families who would occupy the high density housing. Where and how would you educate these children ? Why not rent out the facility until such a time as it is needed again rather than pay expensive prices later to aquire property to build an educational structure?
