Please, no. So many have worked so long and so hard to improve GLSM. Let's not add to the toxic issues with construction of this facility. Please "Save the Lake" for future generations.

Much effort & money has been invested into recovery of Grand Lake's health. It would be counterproductive to add waste of large egg facility in the Grand Lake watershed (manure, egg wash, dead hens).

Lake St. Marys has had so many water problems in the last few years. Constructing a hen factory on the watershed, especially before the lake has a time to recover from the recent algae problem could cause a disaster.

No way we should allow this ..the lake is finally making a slow come back. Not only that if you ever take a walk through one of these places and think about how unhumane they are you would think twice ... Just plain wrong all the way around.
PS we live directly on the lake so I feel like I can speak to this !!!

Intensive animal production in the Grand Lake St.Marys watershed has produced the worst case of hazardous algal blooms (HAB) in Ohio and possibly the entire country. We need clean water far more than we need more chickens.

Source control of pollutants is needed upstream. Without that downstream mitigation measures will never catch up.
