If all off-campus housing is limited to 2 people per apt. it will drastically increase the amount of students that will need to live on-campus. And as of now UMass Lowell is struggling to house everyone as it is. If this bill is passed there will not be enough on campus housing for students. And with each freshmen class being bigger than the last in recent years, it is going to cause even more problems.

I can't afford the overpriced housing offered by the university and the fact that the city is trying to ban us from living off campus is disgusting. Forget about the price of university housing, they dont even have enough space to house every student. If this law passes, the university and its students are going to suffer greatly and, let's remember, it's the university's growth that has reduced the crime rate and brought so much business back to this city. Do not pass this!
