Opposition to Bradley Canyon Farms, LLC Cannabis Conditional Use Permit DRC2018-00110

We oppose a marijuana farm anywhere near a private community with families, guests, children and people who purchased their homes in Oak Shores to feel safe, away from elements that pose a hazard to our community, the environment and tranquility.

We purchased our home in Oak Shores 20 years ago to have a safe, clean, private place to raise our Kidd’s and mow grandchildren too! A Marijuana Farm is not appropriate around Oak Shores - it will destroy the environment, serenity of nature and reduce property values.

The application is not in line with the neighbors, lifestyle and community.

I am against this farm being in proximity of families and communities.

I oppose the Bradley Canyon Farms, LLC proposal to establish an outdoor cannabis cultivation and nursery off Lynch Canyon Road. Lynch Canyon Road is the only way in and out for hundreds of residents that live to the West of the proposed Use Permit area. This exacerbates an already under-sized escape route should there be an emergency evacuation necessary from a natural disaster or fire. I strongly urge the Use Permit be denied. Shane Collins

I strongly oppose this project.

As a new home owner in the Oak Shores Community, I am deeply disturbed my the proposed project. I do not understand the need to establish a business of this nature so close to a community that provides a safe and family-oriented atmosphere. The negative impacts of this or any other business of this nature far outweighs any monetary benefits it may provide. There are acres of land available in other areas that would be suitable for such a business and not impact the communities around it. This should not even be considered as an option!

Please leave our community alone. Take your pot growing green houses somewhere else.

I’m strongly opposed to this project and any additional Cannabis Cultivation. The negative impact to our community is endless, from traffic to our county to environmental issues and much more. Please help us save our community now, we don’t need anymore Cannabis growing facilities.

This must be stopped, just look at the news a 90 year old Jewish lady was thrown off a third floor balcony and killed by a person using Cannabis. TheJudge ruled he can’t be tried for murder because he uses Cannabis daily and doesn’t know what he is doing. What a sad world so we don’t want any Cannabis growing in our beautiful areas of Oak Shores and Heritage Ranch.
