Another example of senseless political maneuvering.
Clearly this is not in the publics best interest.

I am totally against all supervised injection sites. Especially this close to schools and commercial sites.

The way this has been handled by the city is outrageous, jamming in a location with virtually no notice or community feedback and changing the law to make it work, all while destroying the value of the investments in that neigbourhood.
The service is needed, however, this is not the right place or correct way to handle it.

I agree totally with the concerns of the community within which this site is planned.

If anything, I believe the safe injection site should be located in the Health Unit building. All support personnel and emergency services would be readily available. Space in this building could certainly be made available. City council needs to push Dr. Mackie to institute this option instead of trying to insert the SCF into this location.

Too close to schools. Why encourage drug use in the first place?

Hospital or health clinics are better choices. Need to review what other provinces have done to make this successful.

This location not only makes no sense, it is a threat to the viability of the surrounding community.

Terrible location as heavy traffic will kill the sites users. Move it to St. Joes

With a meth clinic in front of Beal SS and then putting a safe injection site less then 300 ft behind the school is unexceptable. Not to mention Childreach Early Learning and CCH Secondary located within the injection site location is wrong !

strongly object - especially because of the potential of traffic/pedestrian accidents on a very busy street
