Portland regulators are planning to give taxi permits to a number of new taxi companies. This causes a problem for current taxi drivers and companies. It means less customers and less money than we are receiving at the current time. Plus with the economy the way it is it may cause some companies to close down and more people out of jobs. So this petition is to inform Portland regulators that signing new taxi permits is not a economically good idea and people are opposed it.
