Not only do I oppose this camp ground, but I oppose the solar panel farm that is trying to be put in Park County near Hartsel, which is not provide power for Park County. The solar panel farm is going to provide power for Counties East of Park County to include Aurora.

I oppose this campground based on the fact that it violates existing zoning, will negatively impact neighbors, and the requisite water trucking will be a nuisance.

I echo everything everyone else has already stated. I’ll add that we’ve already had issues with random people trespassing, camping, and leaving trash on our property in Estates of Colorado where we have free-range cattle and other wildlife that we don’t want disturbed.

Knowing this area... this does not sound like a good place for a camp ground.

This proposed campground is an encroachment on ag land not to mention an aesthetic and a way of life.
I oppose creating an unnecessary fire danger in an already bud worm damaged treescape. As the crow flies, most folks in the Guffey area are within 10 mi of this proposed site. FIRE DANGER!
I oppose the fact that this campground proposal was flown under the radar so as not to alert local residents but advertised by the landowner all over Facebook including polls to determine things like, "Would you pay extra for a hot shower?" There is not a drop of water on that land.
We work together to protect our community so let it be known that you, Park County, may as well put proposals such as this out in the open.
Sincerely,
Heather Lynn

As a property owner in the Old Kathleen Ranch, Guffey Colorado, I oppose the Application for Conditional Use Permit which has been filed for a campground on the property at 2318 CR 59.
It does not meet the criteria of the Master Land use Plan , would not fit in with the current residential property’s & agricultural use of the area. I also feel a campground presents a high degree of fire safety potential , noise pollution, road damage , water garbage concerns along with potential theft or vandalism.

This should never happen. If the planned "business" went through normal zoning process they'd get stopped at, "What is your source of water?"

We own the property at 820 cr59.
Allowing a campground on this property would be a violation of how the property is zoned.

The plan is unrealistic. It proposes a septic tank suitable for a one family home. The site plan shows 21 camper slots/cabins. If only two people per camp site that's the waste of 42 people going into a system suitable for a average to large family.

Here are no specific rules in place for this type of land use. With no rules comes no recourse for residents if something goes wrong or we were lied to about campground rules.
