Opposing the Removal of the Higgins Lake Dam “Evaluating the Hydrological and Ecological Impacts of Removing the Higgins Lake-Level Control Structure” [Dam] is a $100,000 study currently underway. The study is partially funded by the Higgins Lake Foundation (HLF), and is sponsored and coordinated by the Higgins Lake Property Owners Association (HLPOA) with no direct involvement of any lakefront owners, or lake users outside those organizations. If you are opposed to this closed-door study, believe that it should, instead, address improving the dam’s ability to maintain current legal levels more accurately, and insist on immediate equal representation on the study team by members of the entire lake community, please sign below: Name Address Township
