We do not want miss millie’s fried chicken on Heol y Deri, Rhiwbina. Reasons being we have other takeaways and things like it and Rhiwbina is filled of either very old or very young people or families. We don’t want Rhiwbina village to be brought down by having teenagers hanging around, messing around late at night and littering, and there excuse would be that they’re getting Miss Millie’s. That will make Rhiwbina the opposite of what a lovely village it is now, and we want people to still feel comfortable and safe in this lovely environment especially later at night.

This is not an appropriate establishment for Rhiwbina village, for the reasons given in the petition.

Not the right place for a fast food outlet

Unsuitable for the village for many reasons, chief amongst them being that it would be out of keeping with the general mix of businesses within the village. Not needed and would be boycotted.

Really bad for Rhiwbina…Litter, traffic problems, parking, detrimental to local businesses etc etc

For all the reasons stated, particularly those concerning increased traffic / parking issues and preferring to see local businesses in the village, I am opposed to Miss Millies opening in Rhiwbina village.

Definitely not!!!

Absolutely no need for this at all. Would ruin the vibe and culture of the village. Increase in traffic, littering and anti social behaviour would take away any character the village still has.

Rhiwbina is not the place for this type of shop

Strongly oppose on environmental grounds also not in keeping with ethos of garden village and damaging to life here in this neighbourhood and other businesses

We are a small garden village. The surrounding area is a conservation area. We have limited parking and most of our shops are independently owned. Other concerns would be opening hours and rubbish.

I say NO to the grim cheap fried chicken. Think of the heart problems and the litter.

The traffic and parking are already an issue in this area: if they use takeaway delivery services then the path/road be even busier with bikes/motorbikes/cars.

A fast food takeaway will make an already congested road even more dangerous and destroy the ambiance of the village as it is so close to a Cadw Grade II listed area in the Garden Village.

Miss Millie 's will not fit into the ethos a village like Rhiwbina has

Rhiwbina has insufficient parking for fast food chains (and Miss Millie's gluten-free menu is pitiful).
