Strongly against installation of telecom antenna on the roof of Aurora building due to potential safety risks

I object to the proposal based on the following grounds: Health and Safety Concerns: The installation of telecom antennas can raise significant health and safety concerns for residents. The potential exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs) is a matter of public concern, and it is crucial that any installation complies with the guidelines set by Public Health England and the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP). Impact on Property Value and Aesthetics: The presence of a telecom antenna can negatively impact the aesthetic appeal of the building and potentially reduce property values. As a leaseholder, I am concerned about the long-term implications this installation may have on the desirability and market value of my property. Lease Agreement Provisions: The terms of my lease agreement stipulate that any alterations or additions to the building must be approved by the leaseholders and freeholder. I have not been consulted or given my consent for this installation, which is a breach of the lease agreement. Alternative Solutions: While I understand the telecom company’s need to prevent any loss of services due to losing access to the existing site, I believe that alternative solutions should be explored. The area is very dense and has a number of high-rise buildings with similar characteristics to ours, which could serve as suitable locations for the antenna without impacting residential properties.

Totally oppose this installation. As a leaseholder, we have gone through massive upheaval the last few years with Cladding works, we do not want anything else to de-value our properties.

As a resident of the Aurora building, I strongly oppose the installation of the antenna at 245 High Street. The consultation process was flawed, leaving out key stakeholders and failing to address our concerns. The antenna’s installation raises serious safety, health, and visual impact issues, while breaching the Building Safety Act 2022. This will harm both property values and residents' well-being. I urge you to reconsider this plan and find a more appropriate site.

I strongly oppose this installation. We've just been through years of torture with cladding issues and constant building work and now they want to kick us while we're down by doing this.

I strongly oppose the installation of a telecom antenna on the Aurora building roof in Stratford due to health concerns. I do not want this in our community and urge authorities to reconsider.
