I can't express my concerns any more effectively than Genevieve Drutchas, and many others here, so I'll sincerely "second" their comments. Please seriously consider all the points offered by my neighbors. It would be a historic environmental and aesthetic tragedy for all of us who care about
the beauty and heritage of our 'corner' of Vermont, and an affront to the voices and concerns of our citizens, for this plan to be approved. There's got to be a better way to serve everyone's needs, and to make such a consequential decision as this. I wasn't here when the legislature passed the highway billboard law in 1968, but they really got that one right. I know this issue is more complicated, in terms of people's concerns, but we can and must get it right, as well!

It's understood that folks want access to communication and technology, but it seems we should wait for an offer/ project that is better suited. On many levels this project does not seem in alignment with our community as a whole, therefore I oppose this. It's also a red flag that it's just under a height that excludes it from certain regulations.

This tower is too high, would need to clear an enormous amount of forest, and the company seems unprofessional. As a young adult in Worcester, I would rather have fiber internet than cell service.

Not only out of compliance, but cell service is problematic for computer internet access. Speeds are very slow and get worse as more people use system. Also cell internet access will keep dropping signal if weather is not perfect.

We're opposed to the cell tower and feel resentful of the heavy handed approach Industrial Wireless Technologies attempted. Really? Right there...'towering' over an area filled with homes and trails and the most beautiful epic views of the Worcester Range, that provides no benefit to our community except for a few along a tiny slice of Rt. 12? Our situation with this proposed tower highlights the need to establish an even-handed, clear and transparent process for how and where cell towers get placed in Vt. This is what our government is supposed to be for. Get on it! We know they're coming! We would be open to a shorter tower, better placed in our landscape and enhanced to be less intrusive appearing in our beautiful locale, IF it gained residents considerable benefit and the community voice and vote was part of the process. This is not rocket science. Mutual respect, clarity and benefit has to be how this gets played out or we're all going to lose.

This plan is obscene. We live at the intersection of Norton Rd and Route 12 in Putnamville. We hike the Ellis Bruce Trail and walk on Norton Rd. often and this would wreck the views and natural beauty of our area. The plan violates all norms of decency and is totally out of scale. We do not have reliable cell reception at our house and would welcome a significantly scaled back plan somewhere that doesn't interrupt the region's most stunning view of the Worcester Range. Please reconsider this plan!

I do not favor this proposal in the least. I have family on Norton Road and this would destroy too much of the area and the quality of life for all the folks on the road including my family.
