Teesside Students Union: Oppose the fee rise and cuts!

The president of Teesside Students Union Lori Wheatman supported the 10th of November demonstration in London against fee rises and cuts in education. Since re-election she has reversed her position stating she now accepts the possible trebling of student fees while acknowledging that with government cuts this will not lead to any new investment in the university. Research published by the Guardian states that Teesside University is likely to charge over £8, 000 for degree level courses.
We call on the president of Teesside Students Union to oppose the rise in fees, the cuts to staff/modules and fight for the students she represents.
