We, the undersigned, request that MPs from all political persuasions oppose the new Health and Social Care bill which passes the responsibility for commissioning services to GPs, reduces accountability and establishes the principle of 'any willing provider'. If passed, this legislation is counter to the core priniciples of the National Health Service which establishes that all citizens of this country have an equal right and access to high quality health care, free at the point of delivery.
