This is so ubercommercial. It reeks. I'm boycotting the company for even attempting it.This would be like a mainstream perfume company trying to get rights to the trademark name 'Christmas perfume.' It reeks of over commercializing the High Holidays in the same way some money grubbing Christian merchants do to their christian Christmas.Ugh!

The word "Yule" has been used to describe the celebrations of Winter Solstice and Christmas FOR CENTURIES around the World, it is NOT a word that can be condemned to the servitude of one greedy individual or corporation for their personal gain. This is ridiculous.

This is akin to trademarking the word "Easter" or "Christmas" - Yule is a holiday, and a widely used word. I do not see how any good can come from this.

Yule is the name of a traditional holiday, celebrated in many places and by many folks both of, and friendly to, a know spiritual path. It is no more appropriate to be trademarked than "Christmas" or "Easter" would be.

Yule is our winter festival this cannot be owned or trademarked for profit or gain because it is our celebration of winter.
