On 20th December 2013, The Lesbian and Gay Bisexual Transgender Community in Uganda woke up to the grim news that the Anti Homosexuality bill, which had been shelved at the end of 2012 had been passed by Parliament. The bill was passed without Quorum and without Prior mandatory inclusion on the Parliament Order Paper. The bill, if passed into law willbe a disaster to the Human Rights of LGBT people,
Reaching this level of visibility feels heavy given the gravity of the news. I am exhausted by the constant uphill climb but seeing this response proves that we are not fighting in the dark.

being gay it not a choice. change the word gay for the word black and see if your laws are appropriate...

If history has taught us anything, it's that THIS NEVER WORKS! Hate and fear are never the answer. Gay people will always exist.... learn to live in peace. What kind of "Christians" would do such a thing!?
