NTB has not met the concerns of the people. The election of Trustee's is not a fair process. The Marae model is not a fair representation of the people and is incredibly inadequate. NTB does not follow all their own policies and has several Trust Deed and Act breaches. Their track record of managing funds is faulted. The lack of transparency or engagement is extreme. NTB misrepresent the interests of the people. NTB do not appear to be willing to make the changes required to truely be what we need, and will continue to do so until it is coerced into to doing so...

I do not support Ngati Wai's claim to the whole of the Whangarei Harbour. Te Kahu O Torongare have hapu rights over the coastal region.
