Enough is enough Sand Lake doesn't need more dump trucks running through town.

We strongly oppose all parts of the proposal. They are incompatible with residential neighborhoods in the area. We live within one mile of the mine site, and we are deeply disturbed by the potential for even greater air and noise pollution. The diesel fumes, dust, and fine particulates that already emanate from the site will be exacerbated by the proposed expansion and attendant activities. We walk and run on streets that are even closer to the mine than our home, and we will be exposed to the polluted air as a result. From our home we can often hear the current machinery/truck traffic operating, detracting from our quality of life. It will only grow worse with the proposed expansion and new activities.

I live in the town of Sand Lake, 11 Crystal Lake Rd. I strongly oppose the expansion of the Hoffay mine and any and all mines in my area including the expansion of depth requested by Troy Sand & Gravel. They pose health risks, environmental risks, and risk property values as well. No more mine expansion or new mining developments in West Sand Lake and Sand Lake! Christine Orio

I live in West Sand Lake and would strongly favor an environmental impact report.
