This is really over the top. If the SCWF owners can't make a go of it without 278 million, maybe they should make way for owners that can. F those mother effers.

The COA could decrease the $530 million to be spent for homelessness relief by the amount of this $278 million subsidy. Do the math, this giveaway of taxpayer money makes no sense. A fifth grader could figure this out.

Maybe if the city would have more concern about the ones that pay their taxes and charge the millionaires on Ladybird Lake, instead of taking advantage of the poor.

VOTE NO! We have a homeless population who need our help first and foremost without giving astronomical tax cuts to the groups who are interested in making mega bucks.

Please fund projects in east Austin, where many neighborhoods have nosidewalks for school children to walk home from school(Cherrywood Neighborhoods)

In a city already struggling with economic disparities providing (even offering) subsidies for billion dollar business is mindless. Water front property in Austin (any downtown property) is strong enough on its own to bring in business. Subsidies not needed.
But say they were- why should we who struggle to make rent and buy food have to also pay billionaires to bring companies here? Are they providing free services to residents? Provide a good product or service and subsidies not needed.

If it’s not financially feasible for a development how about lets not do it. You are making Austin unaffordable and unattractive to the people who actually live here.
