until the ban is removed, I will not use any airline that is a part of this unlawful practice.

Except trophy hunters don't want old males do they, they want animals, (male or female) in prime condition, and the bigger the better to get in SCI record books. Lioness trophy hunts are cheaper than male lions in South Africa. 12 million tourists to South Africa didn't kill animals. Who bought the most money into the country? BTW you harvest corn and potatoes etc. You kill animals.

stopping the transit of legally harvested managed animals reduces the value of the game animal and will subsequently result in the drop in game numbers. Harvesting old male animals in the wildlife does affect herd numbers. Hunters spend more money towards conservation and wildlife management than 10 eco tourists.

Please do not back down to the bully boy tactics of the minority hunting fraternity. Respect for taking the stance of banning trophy hunts leaving Africa. Hunting does not conserve wildlife. One does not kill that which one is trying to preserve/protect for future generations to inherit. Another factor is that although the hunting fraternity think and claim that it is all legal and above board, often it is not, as we are aware of the fact that poachers come in under the guise of 'legal permits" The way hunting is conducted is cruel, perverse, sadistic. It is something that hunters take great delight in doing--eg the infamous Dentist who hunted an endangered lion with cross bow in the night. Left an arrow deep in his flank and went off to sleep the night, having a leasurely breakfast the next day before tracking the suffering lion down, taking 40 hours in total before polishing him off. The level of brutality is completely lost on hunters. They have no soul, no compassion. To date at least 18 airlines have opted to BAN taking on board their planes the gory remains of blood lusting "sport" Makes you think doesn't it?! Tourism generates more income than hunting. Only 3% of hunting goes to the communities. Do you think the communities bow down in gratitude for the few crumbs thrown to them by patronising hunters. No, they feel contempt for them.

Hunters are conservationists in the truest sense of the word. Without their support through the purchase of licenses, permits, and stamps and the excise tax on firearms, ammunition, all wildlife has benefitted. Hunters are the unsung heroes of conservation!

These miscalculated decisions are sadly being made to appease a certain poorly informed international community through pressure created by social media ..... it appears no consideration has been given to the impact that such a move inflicts on those indigenous people who live in these remote regions that rely on this sustainable and carefully managed wildlife programs as an important financial income source but also gain the additional protein source as an important red meat supply to their isolated locations where no supermarkets or butchery even exist .... the CITES international organization already exists to monitor and manage sustainable hunting practice .... there is no need for Airline Company's to impose this form of sanctioning that will ultimately be to the detriment of the indigenous people's whose god given right it is to harvest the benefits of sustainable hunting practice .... probably 99% of the public and even the airline decision makers have no idea what the CAMPFIRE Program is ... what it stands for & what it does particularly in Zimbabwe .... look it up people .... research it .... before ridiculous decisions are made that may lead to massive poaching and wildlife destruction as the sustainable management largely conducted and motivated by the Professional Hunting fraternity would weakened purely from the lack of financial resources to manage and sustain African Wildlife in the Controlled Hunting Areas .... the Government's of the day are not going to do it .... corruption is alre already rife .... they can't even protect the dwindling Rhino population .... which is all but devastated ..............
