The commission officially rejected the zoning change for Ebenezer Road this afternoon. My hands are shaking as I type this because I truly did not think we would make it to the other side of this fight. Please stay vigilant because we need to make sure this land stays protected …
TO: Cobb County Planning Commission CASE: Z-35, Adventur Living LLC proposal to change zoning from R-20 & R-80 to RSL for 3750, 3860 & 3862 Ebenezer Road, tract 304
We, the undersigned homeowners do hereby oppose any change to the present classifications or R-20 and R-80.
The momentum is building but I am exhausted by the constant uphill battle against this zoning change. Please get the link to your neighbors today because the planning commission needs to see a massive block of opposition before we hit that five hundred signature mark.

Adding a development with such high density as being proposed is a huge mistake for this area of all single-family homes. It will have a negative impact of our streets, water and sewer. Storm water runoff will also impact homes and existing streams.

How many RSL's do we need in East Cobb? This is Cobb County's way of allowing higher density development in our neighborhoods so developers can justify paying a higher price for the land. If it conflicts with FLUM,. just say NO

I oppose this high-density development. It does not fit the character of the area and will further reduce dwindling green space. Additionally, traffic on Ebenezer is already a huge challenge during peak hours.

No way Ebenezer Road can handle much more traffic. 76 houses on 15 acres!! I can't imagine why that is even being considered. This is entirely too clustered for this area. What a mess this will create. Do not allow this.

Impervious surfaces: Where will all the rain drain to? With that many roofs, streets, walkways, etc. there can not be adequate green space to accommodate all the rain runoff. Density needs to be much less.

We live on Maybreeze Road near this property. There are young children who play outside and who walk to school on this road. People travel way over the speed limit and I can hardly cross the road to walk my dogs. We cannot tolerate more traffic on this road.

Please think about future generations enjoyment of the land.
