There is not enough data that supports wearing a mask as effective. Also, if we are going to enforce a mask mandate all stores should also be policing social distancing and hand sanitizing. Thank you!

I do not agree with forcing citizens to wear masks especially when there is such controversy over the real, factual evidence that masks even work. I can decide on my own when and where I need to wear a mask. This is government overreach of power.

With having Breathing Problem myself. And owning a Business its very hard for me to work. I can not close my business again. I refuse to give my Rights away. They need to take back this mandate.

This mandate is unconstitutional and ridiculous at the least. I've been going to work through this whole 'pandemic' and see people everyday. Guess what, I'm fine. If you feel like you should wear one because of a condition, then do so. Let the healthy people be free. And also, since most people aren't even wearing N95 masks, it won't even help. Your 'face coverings' rule is the most retarded thing this council has ever done and you're really done some dumb things in the past....

In the interest of maintaining the integrity of the inalienable rights God gave us and keeping government to it’s rightful stature as small and limited, i am signing this petition and voicing my disappointment that the city of Springfield would fall in line with the communist implementation of masks. We are better than this. Let’s be bold enough to stand against the mainstream media fear mongering narrative and make decisions based on data driven science instead. This virus is NOT what we are being told. That is now evident.

I do NOT consent to masks. It is MY right to breathe oxygen verses CO2. It’s my constitutional right to wear a mask just as well as not wear one.

The runners who deliver food to cars at fast food places such as Culvers are going to get heat stroke, then you will be sued, I witnessed this almost happening the first day of your masking....
