Oppose Mask Mandate in Greene County/Springfield Missouri

No mask mandate! The mandates are ILLEGAL!

Don’t turn springfield into a nannie state. No masks. Americans are smart enough to protect themselves.

It’s hard to breathe in the mask .

Please do you research that masks don’t work! They will cause more hard for respiratory system! My kids will not go back to school if masks are mandated! My daughter has chronic bronchitis and I have a medical condition we can’t wear masks. I faint in it. If masks are mandated I would be afraid to go into public without one become I’m afraid of my safety. There are crazy people who can become physical over it and can even run people over if they see someone without a mask. This happened before in other states. Please prayfully consider the right decision. Thank you.

As Americans part of our rights are individual choice. By enforcing people to wear a mask you are taking away civil liberties. Where will you stop?

I believe it should be a personal choice to wear a mask or not. I believe this is against our constitutional rights. American is a free country!

Leave it to business owners. Business owners with essentials need to provide times for customers who do not want to wear a mask. Social distancing, hand washing, proper surface cleaning & stay home when ill is all that is needed to stop the spread of all illness. Also for previous statement to work make sure employers pay employees to stay home when ill.

The choice to wear a mask should be just that, a choice. We don’t need government officials to parents us.

Free choice. If women are awarded the right to choose when it comes to an innocent child in the womb, a person should certainly reserve their right to wear or not wear a facial covering. Period.

Face masks bring their own health issues, such as breathing in your own bacteria, not receiving enough fresh air which can be especially damaging to those with respiratory illnesses. There should be freedom to choose.

CHOICE NOT mandate. I'm supposed to be vulnerable (79years old). I think I'm smart enough to know whether I'm sick, hobnobbing with those who are sick, or whether a mask will REALLY afford me protection in any given situation. LET ME DECIDE FOR MYSELF!! If you're paranoid about the virus -- you can wear a mask or stay home.

This is not a logical solution. Cloth masks do not work.

Get rid of all masks! Including all employees wearing them at work.

Please let this not be a mandate but a choice!!!

This would promote further misuse of masks. Wash your hands people, stay home if your sick. Masks are not designed for long term use and offer a false sense of safety.
