masks are not ment to be worn at all times. They are ment to be worn when you have a chance to infecting someone or some infecting you in close proximity. You need to dispose of them after an hour of use. I will not wear a mask because keeping 6ft a part should also be enough to not spread anything. Also because if people would wash their hands that also would stop the spread of most illnesses.

It's a violation of my liberty. If you feel safer wearing a mask, by all means wear the mask. Just don't force me to wear one. I can take care of myself. Remember "my body my choice ". But I guess that only applies to killing babies.

Wearing a cloth mask is tantamount to using a chain-link fence to keep mosquitoes out of your back yard.
Covid19 no longer meets the CDC definition of an epidemic.
This week two studies substantiated the reality that Hydroxychloroquine is a cure for SARSCov2 infections, with a 50% reduction of death rate WHEN STARTED LATE.

I will not shop in Springfield for anything as long as this stupid mask ordinance is in place!

I will not wear a mask for several resons ...shut everything down use store workers to do curb side ...if these people stop doing protests the virus would stop spreading...if people would uses commin sense this virus would not spread ....shut Missouri down cant spread virus if it cant be spread end of story
Something to think about!
1) The facts do not support the mandate to have to wear a mask. Through the whole pandemic there has only been five or six patients at one time in Cox or Mercy Hospitals, recently as of yesterday and the day before the number has risen to 15 or 16 at one time in Cox or Mercy Hospitals. 168,000 Springfield citizens should not loose their freedom of choice because 15 or 16 people are in the hospital.
2) There is no proof that masks will keep someone from getting the virus. It “might” help, but it won’t keep you from getting the virus.
3) If masks actually worked, the people wearing the masks shouldn’t be worried about someone not wearing a mask because they are protected by wearing their own mask.
4) People that wear masks touch their face more trying to adjust it and pulling it up and down because masks are very uncomfortable and irritating.
5) People who wear masks for “prolonged periods” of time “risk” hurting their own health by breathing their own expelled CO2 and expelled germs.
6) Mask wearing tears down your immune system making you more susceptible to other viruses, especially the viruses of this coming winter.
Bottom line: Mask wearing should be left to the choice of each individual and their knowledge of their own health! The facts do not support the mandate!
