Oppose LCDs and open up access to all MIGS options for glaucoma patients

Discrimination is not acceptable. Blindness leads to dependency which is more expensive in the long run than MIGS.

Please give consideration glaucomaccan be an expensive journey for many.

These MIGS are needed, I have glaucoma and will need these available to me in the near future.

I have advanced glaucoma with loss of vision and would likely be completely blind now if MIGS were not available. I am still able to work full time It is "short-sighted" and, frankly, cruel, to consider removing approval of these procedures. I encourage anyone considering doing so to attempt to go through one day looking through plastic bags and consider the possibility of having no options to work to improve your vision. Consider not being able to see your kids or your grandchildren, to not be able to work, to not be able to read or watch movies or enjoy social activities. And, while doing this, you know that you can remove the plastic bag and have your vision back. Those of us who are blind and/or visually impaired have no such knowledge to fall back on, and are doing all that is possible to retain the vision we do have, often requiring MIGS surgery for this. I hope that you will "look" at this issue from a quality of life issue rather than a financial one.

MIGS procedures need to be covered for glaucoma patients. I'm proof that they work.

This is outrageous!

This limits access to sight saving MIGs devices. This needs to be corrected.

Canaloplasty absolutely needs coverage.

These proposals need to be rescinded so doctors can use their clinical judgment, and patients can receive the treatments they need and deserve.

Doctors and patients need to have adequate coverage of a variety of procedures for treating glaucoma including all MIGS procedures. It is unreasonable for insurance to be limiting options and making medical decisions for patients.

Glaucoma patients need more treatments, not less. MIGS surgeries have saved the sight of thousands of people. Blindness is like a death sentence, and must be prevented at all costs.

It’s a crime to remove these procedures providing care. Shame on you CMS.

I have glaucoma with severe optic nerve damage and am going for my third surgery in a couple of days. Not all surgeries work for people so there need to be a variety of options. Please don't take these options away.

I have glaucoma in both eyes, with serious optic nerve damage in one eye. Please fight this and help us keep our sight through every means possible.

These surgeries are essential and necessary. I have advanced glaucoma and would benefit.
