I am visiting my dad every day especially bring soup during lunch or dinner time to feed him instead relying on PSW. This new amended free only after 5pm does not work. MS is not adding new parking from new building and does not have intention to switch staff parking to visitor parking to alleviate the pressure of not enough parking. They just want to increase revenue without solving the core problem

We usually visit at nights and weekends. Parking is not a problem at these periods, per se. Charging fees at these periods is like acknowledge a non-problem to bordering of an excuse.
The parking meters would seem to signify an open lot for everyone not related to the LTC Centre., the resulting logistic to keep these metered spaces LTC-centric could be nightmarish to confusing at best!
The monthly fee is quite expensive in today's economy as added burden on the families.
This would be a less than well thought administration exercise that I had seen not to hint at the negative sentiments that would have generated against the foundation many years to come. I would be very sorry to see that damaged.
Please reconsider and make no haste. There's plenty of time beyond Jan 2014.

I don't see how this will improve parking.
it will discourage visits.

Payment cannot increase parking space. It only discourage visits which is against the principle of long term care.

a non-sensible proposed scheme...we all understand how important the visits are to the seniors and it just does not make any sense to impose stress/burden to the visitors by charging parking fees.

Mon Sheong is a non-profit organization, it should always take public's intrest at heart, not just trying to money grabbing.

Has anyone done an analysis on the return on investment and pro-forma revenue/expense with limited visitors' parking space currently available? Does it really increase your revenue in any meaningful way? Please show some projected figures to justify your action.

Mon Sheong will not make money from me. If I have to pay to visit my mother, parking fee will come from the donation and raffle tickets etc that I would otherwise be contributed to Mon Sheong.
