I agree, mostly with the concern for traffic and tree removal. Trees are one of the things that makes our community so wonderful and desirable.

It's not that we oppose the entire project, however, we the citizens are being mislead by the developer (Ashton Woods) as well as the city staffers, by grouping the different sites together as one complete site which allows them to over build and over populate. Glenridge Drive land is an zoned (and should remain) owner occupied! If our elected official vote on behalf of Ahston Woods to move forward with this entire project it will not only effect our existing neighborhoods, it effects our cities entire infrastructure .

The exceedingly high density and its impact on our infrastructure, our schools, our environment, and our community as whole is overwhelmingly unhealthy. Who is considering the future big picture of Sandy Springs? There are 5 large developments like this taking place less than a mile from one another. The city only views the single impact of each one. We were going in the right direction with side walks, green space creating a walkable community and we have taken a horrible turn that will impact Sandy Springs and surrounding cities.

This effects everyone who uses the Abernathy/400 corridor. If Sandy Springs allows this to happen we will all be living with the consequences, of inadequate public transportation, narrow roads and HIGH density
