Jumping on the band wagon springs to mind. Whoever thought of raising this petition should have got their facts right beforehand. I am an incomer myself and love Brora. There are many areas of Brora that do need regenerating. I understand BaDAG are a group of volunteers who give up their spare time to help the community of Brora make the village an even nicer place to live. I am 110% behind BaDAG's involvement in the riverbank project. It is very over grown and this is the only way it can be looked after in the future. Everyone who has signed this petition against BaDAG's involvement will thank them in the end for making Brora an even nicer village. As for being called incomers I find very hurtful. If all the so called incomers left Brora and went back to their homes I think the village would be very, very quiet.

Hi Stephen as far as i am aware BaDAG have been consulting with 'tree people' and part of that consultation highlights the need to support the riverbank from dying trees/dying roots indeed the riverbanks requiring a root system is one of the top priorities!

David, Really? Five minutes....I think if you come to the meeting on Monday you will be shocked to find out...they have been here rather longer than 5 minutes...

Would urge you to come to the meeting to find out and participate in the process of discussing why something needs to be done.

Margaret, Why do you assume incomers if you do not know who they are?!! I think if you take the trouble to find out you will be very surprised....

Agree with you, but have you seen how many dead trees there are, especially in front of the Marine Hotel. They are NOT attractive at all!

Robin, Incomers??!! I assume you know exactly who is on BaDAG Robin...I'm guessing not as you will know they are not exactly incomers...., why not come along to a meeting to find out. Always happy to welcome new members, and if you disagree with something then let us know, that's called democracy.

Suggest you direct your anger to the dog owners that can't be bothered to clear up. It is disgusting and I would fine them and make them clear it up, also suggest you lobby Highland Council....

We used to play in the trees when we were young (1940s/50s) and I have always loved them. They are beautiful. I wish this new BaDAG would
