Cannot understand when the insurance company became a physician. They do not rule my health care and I refuse to allow them to change my plan of care that my physician prescribed!

Crazy that Anthem is doing this. We need to band together and not allow this to continue

Denying Seniors care that is prescribed by their Physician and Doctor of Physical Therapy is wrong and unethical. A computer does not take the place of a highly trained doctor who has actually seen and evaluated the patient.

Anthem is putting profits above ethical actions, harming patients, by their financial harassment of PT. PT's are the alternative to surgery and opioids. Actions like Anthem's are driving PT's out of the profession, because they cannot make a living with the payment schedules Anthem is illegally trying to force upon PT services. This does not serve the patients who need care.

What else is new. A billion dollar profit making insurance company wants to continue to cut reimbursement to PTs. And all the while the cost of rents, supplies, schools, and staff has skyrocketed......can't say I am excited for the future for us PTs.

The $75 non negotiable rate is unfair given the cost of living, higher education costs, specialty like mine certified hand therapy. And how is 97530 functional activity and 97140 manual not allowed in the same visit? Does not make sense.

The improper actions by these insurance carriers place patient care and patients health at great risk and undermine the professionalism of the physical therapy profession and the ability to provide proper care.

I do not support the rationing a.k.a. cheapening of PT by Anthem. We have not seen a pay increase from them in 10 years. Every year it is clear that they are raking in profits due to increasing their members cost of insurance and cutting reimbursements for providers.

PT should be given first preference (& paid fairly) over unnecessary injections, opioids, surgery.

How can you make a living with no cost of living increase in a decade! The reimbursement rate was sub-par back then even!

Stop cutting payment on services that save consumers money, needless suffering, and help them avoid addictive drugs, injections, surgeries!

PT's working for Anthem should have their licenses revoked for not providing standard of care according to our ethics guidlines.
